While viewing a portfolio or watchlist in your desktop web browser, you can add, change, or remove new views to display the data you choose. Your views can include estimates, fundamentals, portfolio data, and more. Your custom views are saved in your portfolio page so you don't need to recreate them for each list.
To create a watchlist, you should first identify your key investment criteria and decide what kinds of investments you are looking for. Then, using a stock screener or similar tool, search for stocks that fit those criteria and add them to your watchlist.
Portfolios and watchlists are lists of ticker symbols that you've selected. You create and manage portfolios. Yahoo Finance creates watchlists that you can browse and follow from the "Explore" tab. Your portfolios and followed watchlists are displayed on the "Home" tab. Tap the Home tab.
The Yahoo Finance app works great with its default settings. These settings can be adjusted to suit your preferences. In the lower right corner, tap Account.Tap Settings.
Click on the "Folders" tab in the left menu. Click on the "New Folder" button. Type a name for your new folder and press "Enter" or click "Create". Your new folder will now be listed in the "Folders" tab in the left menu.
