WHO WE ARE

OUR FOUNDERS

Making the world a better place, one brand at a time

The Wonderful Company was founded by entrepreneurs Stewart and Lynda Resnick. With successful careers spanning over 50 years, they’ve always balanced achievement in business with a dedication to giving.

creating groundbreaking campaigns that received national attention. Around the same time, Stewart had built several lucrative businesses. Together, as a husband-and-wife team, they combined marketing savvy with financial and management acumen to pursue their shared passion for producing healthy products. They started by acquiring agricultural land in California. Over the years, they strategically expanded their company to encompass a diverse range of brands—from flowers, to nuts, to beverages and beyond.

From the very beginning, both Stewart and Lynda have made it a personal responsibility to act as good corporate citizens.

Instead of just gauging success by numbers on a spreadsheet, they measure it by how much they give back to their communities and contribute to the world.

WONDERFUL PISTACHIOS & ALMONDS

Here in the San Joaquin Valley, the warm days and cool nights work in harmony with the region’s naturally rich soils to create perfect growing conditions for the perfect snack—heart-healthy nuts loved by consumers around the globe.

Wonderful Pistachios & Almondsis the world's largest grower and processor of almonds and pistachios. They are grown under Wonderful Orchards and processed and marketed under Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds.

Our Approach

As farmers, we believe that what you put into your body matters. The most nutritious and best-tasting foods are those that are from nature.

That’s why we are dedicated to our role as environmental stewards, investing significant time and resources on implementing water-efficient irrigation practices, biorational pest control, and reducing energy use. And we are continually evaluating how we can further lessen our impact while continuing to harvest the most delicious, nutritious snacks.

WONDERFUL CITRUS

Committed to consistent quality

At Wonderful Citrus, we’re passionate about growing the high-quality, great-tasting citrus products you’ve come to know and love, like Wonderful® Halos® mandarins, lemons, limes and oranges. In fact, we are the largest integrated grower, packer, and shipper of fresh citrus in the United States. With a staff of approximately 1,500 people during peak season, nine packing facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, we supply fresh citrus to our customers year-round.

How we work

First and foremost, we’re growers. That means we control the land and have oversight over the entire process from planting to picking, from tree to table. This means you get consistent, fresh, and “wonderful” citrus—every time.

Secondly, our acreage and scale allow us to be at the forefront of progressive agricultural techniques including water conservation efforts, specialized nurseries, and integrated pest management programs.
