Recipient of Pursuit of Excellencedistinction from the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), 2014-2017.Funeral Director of the Year - 2014, bestowed by American Funeral Director magazine. Recipient of the Distinguished Hoosier Award - 2015, presented by the Governor of Indiana and the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs. Recipient of Business Citizenship Award from the Madison (Indiana) Chamber of Commerce, 2010. National recognition for financialcontribution and involvement in Wreaths Across America endeavor, 2009-2017. Member of NFDA, Indiana Funeral Directors Association (IFDA)and Indiana Coroners Association. Office holderof numerous IFDA positions.Continuing education studies through IFDA and NFDA.Jefferson County (Indiana) coroner, elected in 2016. Two-term coroner for Switzerland County, Indiana.
