Dr. Samantha Trepal is a board qualified foot and ankle surgeon. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Miami, FL. With a focus on medical prevention, I believe my Psychology degree set the groundwork for me to be an effective communicator, and ultimately an effective educator for my patients.
She earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine located in New York City. While at NYCPM, Dr. Trepal was a research coordinator at West Point Military Academy fitting incoming cadets with boots. With my brother currently serving in the Air Force, being able to give back to the military community was a privilege and of utmost importance to me.
Dr. Trepal completed an intensive 3 year surgical residency at numerous hospitals including: Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Cohens Childrens Medical Center, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center Valley Stream
While her primary focus in residency was on Podiatric Medicine and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle surgery, she is also passionate about diabetic limb salvage, wound care, and traumatic foot and ankle surgery.
